Yep, I'm back - couldn't stay away
On that Sunday, the smell of burning wood uninvited filled the room, as if looking for the books to talk about what they had in common. The page turned like the second hand of the clock, I didn't know the story would reveal such beauty on this day. An unexpected feeling, through unlike like the smokey air, it was welcome. His glossy oak eyes disappeared back and forth underneath strained eyelids as the music played silently. The wind blew the curtains as if to get our attention, but to no avail. Nothing more was needed, we had our world as we grew together like oddly shaped trees intertwining. Our language differed as if we were from completely different worlds but we would learn each other like learning to walk, although it felt like flying. I could see something different in his eyes now and I knew then like I knew from the beginning. This story would end well.
